“When I was a child I lived on a farm, and I was always as brown as a bunny from the sun,” says Kathleen Eicholtz. “And when I got older, I’d go down to Ocean City for the weekend. I was like a sun worshipper.”

Years later that constant exposure finally caught up with Kathleen, leaving her with a “ruined” look, she says. So, after attending a seminar presented by Dr. Susan Hughes, she went for it. The only tough part, she says, was the recovery; it was 12 days before she returned to work. But the change, she says, surpassed even her best expectations.

“I’m 72 years old but people take me for 45 or 50. And the men open the door for me now. Before they would walk in front of me. Now I get attention, I get winks, and I’m enjoying it. I’ve been asked out a few times…. It’s made me a happier person.”
