While growing up, Dr. Petropoulos excelled in the sciences, winning many national competitions and scholarships, including those from NASA and NIH. Her scientific upbringing was balanced with exposure to the classical arts, thus developing an appreciation for the classical aesthetic world. These attributes coupled with the fact that she is very detail oriented and meticulous, enable Dr. Petropoulos to achieve pleasing and natural results. Every day, she feels fulfilled to have chosen a profession that not only combines the artistic world with the scientific, but also embodies bringing goodness to
others by restoring their verve for life.

Dr. Petropoulos’ New England Facial and Cosmetic Surgery Center, located in the Hunt Medical Building in Danvers, is a delightfully welcoming medical office. Relaxing arias of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli fill the air. Statues and paintings include those of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of beauty and the logo for the practice. Dr. Petropoulos believes Aphrodite embodies her personal and professional philosophy: classic beauty with natural, symmetrical and harmonious proportions.
